Basic Pizza Topping

In Italy there is a bill before parliament to safeguard the "traditional Italian pizza" specifying permissible ingredients and methods of processing .Only pizzas which followed these guidelines could be called "traditional Italian pizzas " in Italy.   
                Therefore my dear friends, this is a very simple version of a pizza topping, keeping the availablity of the cheese and vegetables in mind.I can promise you a pleasant taste if not the original one.Go ahead and give it a try. I am positive you will enjoy it.I am an amateur photographer and this is the best i could photograph.It looks a lot better in real life.

Ingredients
1.      One cup grated cheddar cheese.
2.      Two finely chopped tomatoes (seeds removed).
3.      Two small/ one big capsicum chopped fine.
4.      1 medium onion chopped fine.
5.      2 tbsp cheese spread.
6.      1 tsp oregano.
7.      Salt and black pepper powder to taste.

Method.    Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl . Do not keep for long as he vegetables will start sweating.

Variations in Toppings

(a)     Omit cheddar and cheese spread and use 1 cup mozzarella.
(b)     Sausages, salamis, pepperoni, mushrooms, shredded chicken.etc









Pizza
Ingredient
(a)     Two packets of “daily bread pizza bases “or two packets of Monginis pizza bases.
(b)     Pizza sauce and the topping.
(c)     A hot tava and a little butter.

Method

(a)     Toast the pizza bases for a few seconds on the hot tava at medium flame.
(b)     Butter the hot bases slightly.
(c)     Put one heapful tablespoon of the sauce.
(d)     Spread the topping gently with a spoon or pat it with the hand.
(e)     Preheat oven to 180°C and place as many pizza on the baking dish as can fit in comfortably.
(f)      Bake for 20 minutes.
(g)     Cut into wedges with a pizza knife and serve hot.
(h)     The above mentioned topping should be placed on the sauce and then topped with the cheese mixture to prevent them from drying and shriveling.
(i)      If cheese spread is not available then an equal quantity of thick cream can used in place of that, otherwise keep the mixture the same just drizzle a little olive oil on top.
