French Toast
I have been asked to put up a very simple and basic sweet french toast recipe by one of my viewers .It is a favourite with my children too and I am always happy to make it for them.
Ingredients
1. 6 slices of a little dry bread with the sides removed (it shouldn’t be a fresh loaf, preferably the one kept in the fridge for a day or two)
2. 3 eggs.
3. 6 tablespoons sugar.
4. 6 tablespoons milk.
5. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence.
Method
1. Mix the milk and sugar till the sugar is completely dissolved.
2. Beat in the eggs with a whisk and add the vanilla essence.
3. Dip the bread slices into the mixture and place it on a greased pan at medium flame.
5. The French toasts are done when they have a pleasant brownish colour.
My recipe of a french toast is quite different from this one.will give it a try of course.Ceema P
